Tank & bund lining services
Over a period of time storage facilities can start to show signs of deterioration, corrosion or sometimes just require a change of use. Tank and bund lining products (primary and secondary containment) are practical and cost effective solutions for extending the life of existing storage facilities and providing environmental protection.
These lining systems (reinforced or unreinforced) are completely seamless and durable. They are designed to meet the specific chemical environment that they are expected to contain. There are a wide range of materials and products to suit your storage specifications including polyester and vinylester GRP resins, epoxies and polyurethanes.
GRP products
This range of GRP products, which provides a full covering of the whole stair and landing area, offers extreme slip resistance due to the carbon grit which is chemically bonded to the top surface. GRP stairtreads and landing covers are the sensible choice for dealing with potential slip hazard areas. Once installed stair safety is instantly improved.
GRP lining services
GRP reinforced lining systems can be used for tank or bund lining projects as previously discussed. They can also be used as linings to containment areas for water features, cooling towers and sumps or pits. The basic principle behind these services is to utilise the existing structure or substrate as a mould and then in effect create a ‘tank within a tank’ or ‘bund within a bund’.
This on site operation can reduce or minimize disruption to production or down time, whilst at the same time increase the life expectancy of the vessel or structure requiring refurbishment.
