Our systems
For flow applied systems, we use:
- (FeRFA Type 5) Flow Applied Flooring
- (FeRFA Type 7) Heavy Duty Flowable Flooring
For Resin screed flooring, we use:
- (FeRFA Type 6) Screed Flooring
- (FeRFA Type 8) Heavy Duty Screed Flooring
Resin Screed Flooring
These systems are aggregate filled and trowel finished and typically have a thickness of 4mm upward (FeRFA Type 6) or 6mm upward (FeRFA Type 8). Resin screed products can be epoxy, polyurethane or methyl methacrylate (MMA) based systems and their intended use is medium to heavy duty (FeRFA Type 6) and heavy to very heavy duty (FeRFA Type 8).
The application method for these systems is spreading by means of trowel or screeding sledge and then finished by trowel. The slip resistance of these systems is generally good but is dependant on the surface profile.
Flo-Dek (UK) Ltd are an approved Ucrete® polyurethane Licensed Applicator.
Flow Applied Systems
These systems are often known as self levelling or self smoothing systems which typically have a thickness of 2-3mm (FeRFA Type 5) or 4-6mm (FeRFA Type 7).
Flow applied products can be epoxy, polyurethane or methyl methacrylate (MMA) based systems and their intended use is medium to heavy duty (FeRFA Type 5) and heavy to very heavy duty (FeRFA Type 7).
The application method for these systems is trowel, pin rake and spike roller to finish. The final appearance is a very smooth gloss or matt finish. The slip resistance of these systems can be improved with the use of matt/silk grades or by incorporating a light aggregate scatter or slip resistant medium.
